Sara G. Kunkle, MS, LPES

SC Licensed Psycho-Educational Specialist #4562

Sara graduated from Hamilton College in 2001 with a BA in Psychology and Spanish, then graduated from SUNY Oswego in 2004 with a MS in School Psychology.  She worked as a bilingual school psychologist with Greenville County Schools for about five years before beginning her work as a psycho-educational specialist for a psychologist in private practice.  Sara became interested in neurofeedback after working with a number of kids and adults who could not tolerate the side effects of psychotropic medications and stimulants, yet still needed help on a daily basis to control their symptoms.  Neurofeedback is a way to control (if not completely eliminate) the side effects and the symptoms.    Sara has lived in the Greenville area since 2003 with her husband, Kevin, and their two children.  She enjoys gardening, painting, reading, sewing, and spending time with her family and friends.

Testimonials

I have had amazing results at Brain Refocus!  I can think more clearly and focus on tasks that need to be completed.  I recommend an evaluation to all moms!  -From an adult client

I went for a 504 Plan update meeting last week, and I'm just in shock at how well my son is doing.  Also, he hasn't had any medications and has been so wonderful.  I can't thank you enough.  After years of heartache and crying, he is totally a new person and it means the world to him (and to us).  -From a mother of a pre-teen with ADHD

After 5 sessions, my son said he is feeling better, has less distress when he has many things going on at school, and is able to get his school work done with a feeling of peacefulness.  I'm happy!  -From a mother of an elementary school aged child with ADD
